Meet the Farmers

Marcos, soon to be 14, is our official 'goat man', and he wears that title with pride!  An extremely talented pianist and lover of classical music, Marcos is a very hard-worker, has a heart of gold, and has fallen in love with Nigerian Dwarf Goats.  He does a phenomenal job caring for them, socializing them, and is excited to offer them as 4H projects.  Most of all, he is looking forward to the upcoming babies, the kids due early April and May, 2020.

Andres, newly 14, is our wild and crazy jack-of-all-trades.  A movie buff and creative genius with incredible artistic skills, Andres is our energetic 'life of the party'.  He is currently learning guitar and will no doubt be great at it.  Andres manages the chickens, coops, and egg business.  He knows every one of the 50+ chickens in the flock, and handles them (and their eggs) with love and care.

Taina, 12, is a horse-girl thru and thru.  She moves horses from paddock to pasture, brings them in, handles hay and grain, de-worms, cleans stalls, and keeps the barn and tack room beautifully neat and organized.  Taina is managing the kids' pet-sitting, dog-walking, and barn chore services that we offer.  She is a very hard worker, extremely patient, kind, gentle and calm with the horses, and simply a joy to be around.  One of the best helpers ever.

Yvelore, 12, is the heart of all that happens around here.  She is always the first to notice when someone needs extra care or attention, and is a true 'empath' at her core.  Yvelore is the child who will come running to describe a barn cat who looks 'sad' or a chicken being picked on.  She helps plan and prepare the summer garden and does an incredible job tending to it, planting  and harvesting.  Yvelore will be showing a goat this summer and we can't wait to see her thrive!
